Este disco está dedicado a la memoria de una de las mejores personas que he tenido el placer de conocer, Roberto Martínez Segura (1968-2020), conocido en el mundo del reggae como Dubby Ambassah. Absoluta fuente de inspiración e incansable difusor de la música jamaicana que sobre todo fue amigo, socio y maestro. Han sido innumerables las experiencias compartidas a través de Crucial Ruler, Pirates Choice Recordings, Bomb Bass HiFi y otras mil hazañas. Dicho esto, y una vez analizado el recorrido, me quedo con haber compartido con él la música, la vida y la amistad; haber disfrutado de su generosidad, humildad, sensibilidad y ese sentido del humor tan especial.
Por todo ello, presentamos este tributo, reinterpretando un riddim de 1977 extraído de un single muy buscado por los coleccionistas de Roots Reggae & Dub, Jah- D “We’re Going To Zion” (Roots, RTZ 1). El homenaje se compone de 2 vinilos de 7”. El primero es una versión del tema original We’re Going To Zion a cargo de Roberto Sánchez & I-Man Cruz, el segundo un corte DJ firmado por Winston Blendah y en cada cara B su propia mezcla Dub. Todo producido por Roberto Sánchez en A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio.
Con todo el corazón, a quien tanto nos ha dado a nivel musical y sobre todo a nivel humano. Ambassah, te echamos mucho de menos.

This record is dedicated to the memory of one of the best persons I’ve ever meet, Roberto Martínez Segura (1968-2020) aka Dubby Ambassah. My friend, partner and teacher. A great source of inspiration and tireless reggae music spreader. We’ve shared countless experiences on Crucialr Ruler, Pirates Choice Recordings, Bomb Bass Hifi and other adventures. But to enjoy the music, the life and the friendship with a man with such a humility, generosity, empathy and sense of humour, it has been the greatest.
Becuase of this, we present this tribute, an adaptation of the riddim from the deep and heavyweight 7” Jah- D “We’re Going To Zion” (1977. Roots, RTZ 1). This homage consists of two 7” vinyls. The first is a cover of the original We’re Going To Zion now sung by Roberto Sánchez & I-Man Cruz and the second is a brand new DJ cut by Winston Blendah. Both with their own dub mixes by R. Sánchez at A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio.

Wholeheartedly committed to the one who gave us so much musically but many more on the human face. Ambassah, brother, we miss you.
